Spring is just round the corner….
Spring is just around the corner, and the excitement at Langcliffe Park is palpable! Once January waves goodbye, it’s time for everyone to gear up for bright and cheerful days ahead. While the traditional first day of spring falls between 19th to 21st March, we’re happily kicking off the new season on the 1st of March this year! That’s when our Holiday Home owners return and our Seasonal pitches and Touring site open their doors, bursting with sunshine and smiles.
The Owners, Site Manager, and (the absolutely lovely) Office Staff have been busy bees, working hard to get everything shipshape for the year ahead. After giving our wifi system a total makeover last September, we’ve been rolling up our sleeves during the closed season to make even more fabulous improvements.
As you enter the park, you’ll be greeted by the freshly refurbished road area on your left, plus we’ve remodelled the roads leading into the croft and down toward the meadow. Pitches M1-M5 and M25-M27 have also received some tender loving care and are now spacious, level, and beautifully edged. And guess what? We’re planning to keep upgrading our touring pitches on a rolling program to ensure everyone has the best experience possible.
Our trusty tree surgeons have been hard at work, ensuring the park is safe and beautiful after the recent storm decided to shake things up a bit! The trees that had been destabilised are now safe, and we’ve tidied up other areas to keep our park looking its best. Plus, the amenities block is shining bright after a deep clean and a fresh coat of paint! Keep your fingers crossed we will be awarded Platinum Loo of the Year for another year.
One of the most exciting changes is the new barrier with number plate recognition, adding an extra layer of safety for all our lovely visitors. It means registered guests can zip in and out automatically, waving goodbye to fobs!
We can barely contain our excitement for the 1st of March, when we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another fabulous season! Let the spring celebrations begin!
