As we head into December and towards Christmas there are plenty of reasons to visit Langcliffe Park and the surrounding areas. The Christmas Lights switch on in Settle is a lovely event bringing together locals and visitors. The year the Settle Christmas Light Switch on is in the Market Square on 29th November.
There will be plenty going on all afternoon from 12 midday, including a bouncy castle, santas grotto and Christmas Market, along with performances from local school children and bands. There will also be a Childrens Treasure Trail. Topped off by a firework display. Head down and enjoy a mulled wine!
Skipton has lots going on, on Saturday 30th November, and is billed as a Free full day event packed full of festive entertainment! There is the Great Skipton Santa Fun Run, live entertainment, music and market. If you don’t want to drive, the train from Settle to Skipton is only 25 minutes.
