Just what is so special about Langcliffe Park

With a lovely choice of permanent, seasonal and touring pitches plus a very comfortable apartment Langcliffe Park is very hard to beat. The location on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales is quite special and only a short walk from the historic market town of Settle. As soon as you drive through the entrance there is a feeling of freedom and fun and maybe relief to leave the real world behind. The light airy spacious pitches boast great vistas of the distinctive surrounding landscape. The park is beautifully maintained and family run, perfect for friends, families, couples and their dogs to get together and share some precious time together.

All the Permanent Holiday Homes give you privacy and the chance to personalise your accommodation just as you want it. The long season allows you access except for 6 winter weeks. There is decking to enjoy the views, sun, nature and to dine ‘al fresco’. With new and pre-loved homes to choose from there is something to suit everyone’s pocket.

Many caravan owners decide to have a more permanent base and stay on one of our Seasonal Pitches for whole or part of the season. This allows you to set up camp and really enjoy and get to know the area without having the stress of towing your van. Give it a try and you may get to like it, many people choose to stay on their seasonal pitch for many years. With spacious hardstanding pitches, open views and a great location who can blame them.

Touring holidays are so popular and people return to Langcliffe Park time after time in their beloved campervans, motorhomes and caravans. There’s a fabulous selection of pitches, fully serviced or just electric, with award winning facilities to use and a dog walking field second to none.

If you want a bit more luxury try Tarn Brow Apartment located in the old Mill Owners house. Recently refurbished it offers great value self contained living and takes up to 4 people but unfortunately no dogs. This is a great option for visiting friends and family who prefer apartment living, ground floor and one level, to touring holidays.

Langcliffe Park is a wonderful base to explore this magnificent National Park and surrounding area including Forest of Bowland, Fylde Coast and Lake District, just over 30 miles away. There’s a great selection of walks along rivers, through dales or high on hills, most famously the Yorkshire 3 Peaks. Transport links allow you to leave the car behind, buses run regularly to Skipton and Kirkby Lonsdale from Settle and the famous Settle to Carlisle Railway attracts people from all over the world. Settle is such a lovely and lively town with a market every Tuesday and an Artisan Market the 2nd Sunday of the month. A great selection of shops and places to eat are all you could ever ask for and Victoria Hall is a real cultural hub with shows and films very often live-streamed from London plus live music and tribute bands to choose from.

All we can say is come and see this Hidden Gem for yourself in 2025.
