Great places to eat a hop, skip and jump away from Settle

A lovely river walk straight out of Langclifffe Park takes you to the cafe and restaurant at Knights Stainforth serving food well into the evening. Stop a while at the waterfall just before you get there to see the salmon leaping at certain times of the year. On a nice day sit outside and take in the views of the rolling ‘Yorkshire Dales’ which are quite special.
Elaine’s is a real hidden gem tucked away in the pretty hamlet, Feizor, in the National Park. Established in 2007 and without any advertising it has become a firm favourite for locals, holiday makers and lovers of the outdoors. Booking is highly recommended for its renowned Sunday Roast dinner which will set you up for a lovely walk back home over the tops via Stainforth.
